Board of Health 2026-04-01 Part 2 · Meeting of April 1, 2026

Lakeville's Board of Health licensed a new trash hauler and three mobile food trucks while teeing up a septic fee overhaul. Chairman Derek Maxim, Member Christopher Spratt and Member Robert Poillucci unanimously approved RYCO Sand & Gravel Inc. (doing business as Hiller Disposals) as a residential trash hauler, plus pending-inspection mobile food permits for Kono Pizza Cape Cod, Tom & Jimmy's Ice Cream and Blount Clam Shack. Health Agent Edward Cullen proposed equalizing the town's $300 individual-septic and $740 shared-septic permit fees, arguing the gap "incentivizes" shared systems that concentrate wastewater and risk well contamination.

The board also reappointed Jared Darling and Emma Darling as Inspectors of Animals through April 30, 2027, and set a fee vote for May 20 after discussion April 15 and May 6. Separately, the board deferred a 13 Pine Bluff bedroom/septic waiver request pending a letter from Cullen.
