Herring panel approves observer on 4-1 vote
The Middleboro-Lakeville Herring Fishery Commission voted 4-1 to appoint Krill Carson as an observer for the 2027 season despite concerns she organized an unauthorized effort to carry herring in nets across Wareham Street during this year's festival.
