Planning Board approves 3 projects, pulls overlay bid
Planning Board · Meeting of September 24, 2026
Lakeville Planning Board approves three projects, pulls Country Club senior overlay from fall warrant. The board unanimously approved site plan review for a commercial office building at 2 Main Street sought by Main Street Realty LLC, with engineer Jamie Bissonnette telling the board "we felt that it was fair" on the required inspection bond. Members also endorsed ANR lot-division plans for 30 Holland Road and 92 Taunton Street, and granted Wingate Residences/Fox Estates a two-year site plan extension at 43 Main Street.
The board voted to withdraw a senior overlay district placeholder for Lakeville Country Club from the fall Town Meeting warrant after the applicant failed to finalize zoning language, and set October 22 public hearings on separate open space design and battery storage bylaws. SERPA planner Taylor briefed the board on drafting a standalone accessory dwelling unit bylaw and pursuing a state grant, telling members "there's two upcoming grant options that we can consider."
