Lakeville Zoning Board of Appeals votes unanimously to push Rocky Woods 40B hearing to May 11. The board's entire April 13 remote session lasted roughly eight minutes and produced a single substantive vote: accepting a continuance request from Attorney Robert Mather, who represents Simmons Hill LLC and applicant Mohamed Attani in the Chapter 40B comprehensive permit application for a housing project off Freetown Street. Mather's April 6 letter cited a February snowstorm that prevented the project's engineer from completing survey field work needed to finish a revised traffic study — a study required because the proposal has been expanded to include additional land and a new access and egress point.

The survey has since been submitted to the town's review engineer, but that engineer lacked sufficient time to respond before the scheduled hearing. Members Chris Sheedy and Chris Campo joined Chair Oliveri in the unanimous roll-call vote; the continued hearing is set for May 11 at the Lakeville Public Library at 6 p.m.
