Lakeville Zoning Board Continues Rocky Woods 40B Hearing to June 8

Zoning Board · Meeting of May 11, 2026

Lakeville's Zoning Board of Appeals unanimously continued the Rocky Woods 40B comprehensive permit hearing to June 8 after the applicant's attorney cited an incomplete traffic study. Attorney Robert J. Mather, representing Simmons Hill LLC and applicant Mohamed Itani, wrote to Chairman Oliveri on May 7 explaining that the revised traffic study for the proposed Freetown Street development had not yet been finalized and that Jeffrey Dirk of Vanasse and Associates, the town's peer-review traffic engineer, would be ready to present at the June 8 session.

The three-member board — Oliveri, and members identified as Sheedy, Campo, and Jerry — voted aye on roll call in a meeting that lasted roughly six minutes, complicated briefly by a recording failure that required the chair to re-read the record on camera.
