Family Trust Transfers Dominate Lakeville's September Deed Recordings
Lakeville recorded 11 property transfers between Aug. 21 and Sept. 19, but only two carried a sale price so far: $369 at 8 Violet St. and $875 at 39 Nachaomet Rd., for a median of $622 based on those two. The remaining nine transfers, including three Kitchen family properties on Montgomery and Main streets recorded the same day, are listed as price not yet available, typical of the registry's reporting lag. At least seven of the 11 transfers moved property within the same family or into a trust rather than to a new outside buyer, a pattern that stood out this period.
