Lakeville Conservation Commission continues Myrick Street warehouse hearing to June
Conservation Commission · Meeting of May 12, 2026
Lakeville Conservation Commission hears first presentation on a two-building Myrick Street warehouse project and continues it to June 9. The project at Zero Myrick Street, filed by Carl Malek III of DSM Property Group LLC, proposes two warehouse buildings with a permanent wetland impact of approximately 6,757 square feet — exceeding the 5,000-square-foot threshold that triggers MEPA review, a DEP 401 water quality certification, and limited-project treatment under the Wetlands Protection Act. Wetland scientist Christopher Adderoli of Goddard Consulting said the applicants are proposing roughly 17,000 square feet of wetland replication on the Lakeville portion alone, with additional replication in Taunton yielding what he estimated as a net gain of at least half an acre of wetland across the site.
Conservation Agent Mark Minton noted the DEP had not yet issued a file number pending MEPA, and the commission directed applicants to begin soliciting peer review pricing while awaiting a MEPA certificate expected in mid-to-late June. The commission also closed hearings for 234 Kenneth Welch Drive, 52 Clear Pond Road, 8 Beech Tree Drive, and 107 Hemlock Shore Road, issuing orders of conditions for each.
